CBRN Security Governance
To ensure that all disciplines and organizations concerned with CBRN risk mitigation act as an integrated unit, UNICRI recommends a CBRN national team to be established.
Within the framework of the EU CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence (CoE) Initiative, UNICRI is responsible for the overall administration and monitoring of the implementation of the first 19 CBRN CoE projects.
An International Experts Gathering has been organized under the leadership of the United Arab Emirates within the framework of the European Union Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Centres of Excellence risk mitigation initiative (EU CBRN CoE) and with the involvement of the Head of the CBRN CoE Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States (GCC), Brigadier Hussein Al Harthi.
